Concept

Zil Pasyon Residences perfectly embodies the ethos of 'stealth architecture', blending striking design with the raw beauty of the surrounding environment. Created by award-winning architect Richard Hywel Evans of Studio RHE, the refined lines of these ground breaking structures act as extensions of the granite formations of Félicité.

"We use the latest in technology and creative ideas to construct structures that capture both hearts and minds. We aren't precious but we are original…
Our secret? Simple really, we believe in being bold."

STEALTH ARCHITECTURE

Zil Pasyon Residences are constructed from indigenous materials, including dark-coloured, fine grained basalt that echo the rugged beauty of Félicité. Using the natural landscape as inspiration and foundation, each residence harmonises organically with the natural granitic contours so that over time the structure and its surrounds seem to merge.

Around each property, rich textures and lush surfaces are found in brushed concrete, limestone flooring, polished granite and glass.

THE ARCHITECT

Richard Hywel Evans of multiple award-winning Architectural practice, Studio RHE, designed the residences as holiday hideaways, unseen from the surrounding waters and blending into granite backgrounds.

Each site was carefully selected for its unique natural features, views and privacy, whilst ensuring excavation and damage to the island is minimal. Gentle sea breezes funnel deep into the living spaces, negating the need for air-conditioning on all but the hottest days.
